Countries around the globe, including Canada, are increasingly targeted by sophisticated nation-state cyber operations involving Advanced Persistent Threats (APTs). This session provides an in-depth exploration of recent global nation-state cyber campaigns, detailing the advanced methodologies and techniques employed by APT groups whose activities pose risks to Canadian interests. Participants will gain insights into attacker motivations, behaviours, tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), and explore approaches to analyzing these threats for improved detection, attribution, and mitigation.
