This presentation is a contextualization of the reality of industrial control in OT networks. Today, there are alternatives with IEC-62443-approved controllers for use in cyber-secure OT architecture.
This presentation is a contextualization of the reality of industrial control in OT networks, to understand the issues and challenges. This presentation offers a vision where OT controllers can be part of a cyber architecture as a secure cyber end component capable of protecting himself (reaching the IEC-62443-4 (1-2)). During this presentation we will also demonstrate how an industrial PLC (Programmable logic controller) can be used as a protection device participating in the cyber protection eco-system, capable of remote connection, IDS and IPS.
Graduated in 1999, specialist in industrial automation, Dominick has worked for 13 years in electrical engineering, design, drawing and programming of machines/complete production lines, in Canada and internationally. Since joining Phoenix 12 years ago, Dominick has developed an expertise in industrial networks (OT) and open industrial control platforms.
